Warm A Neighbor in Need This Winter

For more than 30 years, Washington Gas and the Salvation Army have partnered to help more than 280,000 families, seniors, veterans and neighbors throughout D.C., Virginia and Maryland keep the heat on when they hit hard times.

Since 1983, WAFF has disbursed more than $25 million to help cover heating bills while people recover from unexpected life events like illness or job loss, delivering 100% of donations to those in need, no matter what type of fuel is needed.

2018 marks our 35th year, and we're kicking it off with the WAFF Ice House: a new, 3-day fundraising event at The Washington Harbor in Georgetown to raise awareness (and dollars!) for WAFF and to share in person what it means to live in a truly cold home.

The Ice House will be open from January 18-20, 2018.
